The main game is free. Optional puzzle packs and Ad-Free access are one-time purchases, not subscriptions.
These terms cover Gembop at gembop.games. By using the game, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. Questions can be sent to contact@gembop.games.
Playing Gembop
You must be at least 13 to use Gembop. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the game with a parent or guardian's permission and get their approval before making a purchase.
You may play for personal, non-commercial use. You do not need an account for the free game or free pack samples. Some features open as you complete puzzles. You need a compatible browser and an internet connection to load puzzles, confirm progress and use account features.
Accounts and progress
An account is needed to buy packs or save completed progress across devices. Use the same account to access your purchases and keep your credentials secure. Purchases belong to the account used at checkout.
Unfinished moves and preferences stay in your browser. Guest server saves expire after 30 days of inactivity. Clearing browser data may remove local progress. Scores, stars and streaks are personal records with no cash value, prizes or monetary redemption. Do not submit false or manipulated results.
Puzzle packs
Puzzle packs are separate one-time purchases with free samples. The price, currency and applicable taxes are shown at checkout. A purchase unlocks the named pack, including the sizes and 2D/3D modes listed on its page, on the purchasing account.
Purchased packs have no ads within that pack while access remains active. A pack does not unlock another pack or remove ads elsewhere. Prices for future purchases may change; an existing one-time purchase does not turn into a subscription or require another payment for the same pack. "Yours to keep" means no recurring fee for that pack, not a promise that the website will operate forever or an ownership transfer of the game's software.
Gembop Ad-Free
Ad-Free is a separate one-time purchase at the price shown at checkout. It removes ads throughout Gembop while you are signed in to the purchasing account. It does not unlock paid packs. Free play does not require buying Ad-Free, and buying a pack does not include account-wide ad removal.
Payments, refunds and restored access
Checkout uses Stripe. The seller and payment terms are identified at checkout. Paid access starts after payment is confirmed. Use Restore purchases on a pack or account page while signed in with the same account if access has not appeared.
For payment or refund requests, use the support link in your receipt or Link's refund support. The refund rules linked above and applicable consumer rights govern eligibility; nothing here excludes rights you have by law. Contact contact@gembop.games for gameplay, missing-access or account problems. We do not promise an unconditional refund for every request.
A full refund or an open or lost payment dispute removes or suspends the affected purchase's access. Other purchases and stored puzzle results are not removed. Deleting your account is not a refund and removes your purchase access, so contact us about any purchase issue before deletion.
Acceptable use and ownership
Do not bypass paid access or other restrictions; automate abusive requests; interfere with the service; redistribute the game or puzzle catalog without permission; or misrepresent the game as your own. Gembop's code, artwork and branding remain the property of their owners. Open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses. These terms do not limit rights that applicable law gives you.
Availability and changes
We may improve the game, adjust difficulty, fix errors and temporarily interrupt access for maintenance or security. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free play or recovery of every lost browser save. This does not exclude legal guarantees that apply to paid digital content.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, legal requirements or a material breach of these terms. Any change or discontinuation affecting a paid purchase remains subject to your consumer rights and any remedies required by law.
Liability and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the game. We do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, or limit mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence. Nothing in these terms requires you to give up those protections.
Changes and contact
We will update the date above when these terms change and provide appropriate notice of material changes. Changes do not override rights attached to purchases already made. For questions, contact contact@gembop.games.
